TTC FOUNDER LEADS WELLNESS SESSION FOR MET POLICE

Last week, Talking Therapy Clinic had the privilege of supporting the Metropolitan Police Headquarters, where our founder and lead psychotherapist, Nathaniel, hosted a mental health and wellbeing session tailored specifically for Black Male Police Officers.

As part of the Met’s Black History Month celebrations, Nathaniel’s presentation explored the unique mental health challenges experienced at the intersection of being Black, male, and working as a police officer. By creating a safe space for officers to share their experiences and challenges, Nathaniel contributed to the ongoing effort to support mental wellness in the workplace.

As an organisation, we are committed to providing Black men with opportunities to prioritise their mental health, which is why we are excited to host our first Black Men’s Retreat in Morocco in June 2025. In the meantime, we are thankful to the Met Police for the opportunity to deliver this impactful session and look forward to further collaborations that promote a positive and supportive working environment for all staff members.
